Edge is the tallest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, rising 100 floors above Manhattan's streets. SHADES is a unique site-specific project that studies how humans perceive light and color using the entirety of New York City as the canvas, and it was created especially for the 2024 summer season.SHADES may be experienced simply as a large, colorful, summer playground. On the other hand, it might be seen as a deep invitation to reflect on what is occurring in the world around you.
